GRANDPA GOES WILD

Recently, I had the incredible honor of capturing a truly heartwarming and inspirational family moment in the city of Florence, Italy. The hero of this unforgettable photoshoot was none other than a lively and adventurous grandpa, over 80 years old, who had never set foot outside the USA until this very trip.

Age is Just a number

The family, consisting of four adult children and their parents, decided to treat their beloved grandpa to a grand European tour. Despite his age, grandpa embraced every moment with youthful enthusiasm, proving that age is just a number. When I asked him if the constant travel and new cities every day were tiring, he simply smiled and said, “Every day is a ‘wow day’.”

Grand Celebration in Florence

The highlight of their journey was in Florence, where the entire family reunited for a grand celebration. They wore matching outfits and custom made hats emblazoned with the hashtag #grandpagoeswild, symbolizing the spirit of their incredible journey together. The photoshoot was a very fun experience, capturing not just the sights of Florence but the deep bonds of love and adventure that held this family together.

Seeing grandpa’s eyes light up with wonder and joy reminded me of the beauty of exploring new horizons, no matter your age.
